Jordan and Carl were high school sweethearts who reconnected after college. They wanted a non-religious ceremony that was still full of sentimentality while staying true to who they are. They also exchanged personal vows in private, declaring their love for each other during their first look, and exchanged poetry based vows mirroring traditional vows in the ceremony.
